The unique flavour combination taps into the growing consumer demand for alcohol-infused products
Rachel’s, the premium organic dairy brand, has expanded its popular Greek-style range with the launch of its new Limited Edition Strawberry and Marc de Champagne Greek-style yoghurt. Available from 26th February 2018, the latest addition will build on the brand’s existing success within the Greek style yoghurt sector, while responding to current consumer demand for enticing new flavours and in particular, alcohol-infused products.
The new limited edition innovation follows Rachel’s Greek Style Lemon and Gin yoghurt, the brand’s first foray into unique alcohol-infused yogurt flavours, which captured consumers’ attention when it first launched in May 2017. Rachel’s hopes its latest offering will prove just as popular when it hits the fridge aisle later this month.
With the increasing popularity of Champagne and sparkling wines amounting to sales of €1.27bn in the UK alone, Rachel’s is looking to appeal to this growing consumer taste by offering a tantalising alternative to the existing range. Combining the creamy and luxurious texture of Rachel’s famed Greek-style yoghurt with delicious strawberries, the yoghurt also contains a Marc de Champagne liquor made from the pomace from champagne grapes, adding a subtle scent and unique flavour.

The new luxurious Greek Style Strawberry & Marc de Champagne flavour will be available in Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and other key retailers from 26th February, priced at £1.99 (RRP) for a 450g pot.
