WARNER EDWARDS set to get the craft gin market buzzing with the release of hotly anticipated honeybee flavour – Record breaking soft launch with Craft Gin Club resulted in 14.000 bottles sold within days

New Warner Edwards Honeybee Gin is set to create a ‘buzz’ within the craft gin market with an exclusive ‘Spirit of the Month’ retail partnership with Fortnum & Mason this October.  It will then be available made available to the wider off-trade from November.
 
The handcrafted, farm-made gin is the second release from the Warner Edwards Limited Edition Botanical Garden range and balances 28 natural ingredients, making it the Falls Farm distillery’s most complex recipe to date.   A floral and zesty gin, the recipe was developed using the natural and home-grown ingredients from the Falls Farm botanical garden and its hedgerows, located in Harrington, Northamptonshire, then infused with luscious honey to create a long lingering, gently sweet finish.
 
Each vibrant and distinctive, yellow bottle of Warner Edwards Honeybee Gin is sold with a packet of wildflower seeds to encourage the planting of bee-friendly gardens and spaces in collaboration with the Royal Horticultural Society – the
first time the national gardening charity has partnered a spirit brand.
 
Founder of Warner Edwards Tom Warner said: “We are delighted to release our Honeybee Gin to a wider audience.  It’s our most complicated recipe but the flavour is just incredible, and feedback from gin lovers and experts has been that it’s a real addition to the gin market.
 
We’re also thrilled to do our bit in raising awareness of the plight of the honeybee and encourage the planting of wild flowers – so vital in pollination and in massive decline, due to the use of some pesticides.  We completely rely on the generosity of nature in producing our delicious gins – we have a dedicated beekeeper in Jonny Easter at Falls Farm as well as our own botanical garden.   Our partnership with the RHS will further spotlight and celebrate our countryside and gardens and will include a series of exciting new initiatives – including the cultivation of a bee sanctuary within the heather garden of RHS Wisley.
 
It has been a bumper year for Warner Edwards with many prestigious accolades, including gold for its cornerstone Harrington Dry Gin at the IWSC 2017.  Waitrose

 also recently confirmed that Victoria’s Rhubarb gin was its most successful craft gin launch ever.  Warner Edwards is also the best-selling gin brand in Marks & Spencer.  Both multiples will roll out the brand across more stores from October in anticipation of the festive season.
 
Warner Edwards is currently gearing up its senior sales and marketing force in preparation for what is set to be the company’s best festive season ever, which 
will coincide with the brand’s fifth birthday in December.
 
New Warner Edwards Honeybee Gin joins five variants in the
Warner Edwards stable: Harrington Dry Gin, Victoria’s Rhubarb Gin, Harrington Elderflower Gin, Melissa Lemon Balm Gin and Harrington Sloe Gin.  The 70cl bottle of Honeybee, with an ABV of 43%, has a RRP of £40.
