Hippeas, the organic chickpea puff brand, continues its unprecedented growth in the snacking category with new listings confirmed in Tesco, 400 stores, and Asda, 475 stores. Both supermarkets will launch Cheese & Love and Sweet & Smokin’ from the 1st of September.
To coincide, the brands’ award-winning bold yellow packaging has been given a fresh look. Not only is the chickpea puff now clearly communicated on the front of pack, new bright colour strips highlight the different flavours and provide even more on shelf stand-out.

The new listings follow a highly successful launch year for Hippeas, which first came to market in the UK in August 2016. It’s now stocked in over 10,000 outlets with additional retailers including Waitrose, Ocado, Boots, WHSMITH, Holland & Barrett, Amazon, Wholefoods, Planet Organic and Natural Kitchen.
Furthermore, in a move set to help the brand continue its explosive growth trajectory, Hippeas announced investment from Strand Equity Partners, a leading US growth equity fund founded by Seth Rodsky, and Leonardo DiCaprio in May of this year.
