Doisy & Dam launches crunchy almond butter flavour

Doisy & Dam announced the launch of a new, limited-edition and single-original bar, Crunchy Almond Butter. The new product brings the brands collection of superfood chocolate bars to seven, with the new flavour launching in retailers including Whole Foods and Planet Organic from 8th September.

The milk chocolate Crunchy Almond Butter bar also features the brands striking new packaging, which will be rolled out across the full range this September. Not only have the brand’s signature patterns been given a fresh look and made more consistent, front of bar boxes have been added to make the flavours easier to navigate and importantly the packaging is more sustainable.

To create the new Crunchy Almond Butter flavour, Doisy & Dam worked with the Casa Luker plantation in Colombia, carefully selected for both the quality of its cacao and its sustainability credentials.

This family owned producer supports local communities, shortening the supply chain to make cacao farming six times more profitable for its farmers. They have even set up Granja Luker; one of the few cocoa research centres in the world, where they train and educate over 800 people a year on how to build profitable cocoa farms that will have a great impact on their quality of life.

This launch of a new rotating Limited Edition is the latest innovation from Doisy & Dam, which is continuing to make its mark in the chocolate category.

It follows a strong start to 2017 for the brand, which secured its first national supermarket listing at Sainsbury’s in March of this year followed by Holland & Barrett and, they then achieved the sought-after B Corp certification in May.

Crunchy Almond Butter is available from 8th September online, in Whole Foods and Planet Organic stores. All flavours in the range are available in 25g (RRP£1.20) and 80g bars (RRP£2.50). Every bar is hand-made and packaged in the UK, each a little different and made for the individual.
