Nairn’s further expands its gluten free range

Nairn’s has further extended its extensive gluten free product range to include Nairn’s Gluten Free Super Seeded Oatcakes. This new addition plays to the rising demand for healthy eating options in the free from category, whilst also tapping into the growing trend for seeded products which shows no sign of slowing.

The packaging design of the Nairn’s Gluten Free Oatcake range has also been refreshed, with this the first of the new look before the others follow suit in September.

Made from gluten free wholegrain oats, Nairn’s Gluten Free Super Seeded Oatcakes are not only high in fibre, but also a valuable source of protein due to the nutritious combination of flaxseed, sunflower and chia seeds. Guaranteed to tick all the nutritional boxes of coeliacs, those with a gluten intolerance and the health conscious consumer, the oatcakes are also suitable for vegans and vegetarians, whose diets can often be lacking in protein. The combination of wholegrain oats and chia seeds also provides high levels of soluble fibre and complex carbohydrates, ensuring consumers get all the slow release energy they need to get through the day.

Like the rest of the range, Nairn’s Gluten Free Super Seeded Oatcakes are likely to become a kitchen cupboard staple for consumers following a gluten free diet; their versatility means they pair well with a variety of tasty toppings.

At a time when pack sizes are shrinking, we’ve also taken the opportunity to increase the size of our oatcake packs without a change to the RRP, and this is something we are also introducing on crackers from September.”

Nairn’s Gluten Free Super Seeded Oatcakes are made using 100% gluten free oats, suitable for coeliacs, those with gluten intolerances, or those avoiding gluten for other health reasons.

Nairn’s Gluten Free Super Seeded Oatcakes are available in Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Ocado, independent retailers and independent health stores for an RRP of £1.80. They are also listed in all key wholesalers.
