Good Hemp, the creators of delicious and nutritious, natural hemp products, has launched their new Hemp Seed Hearts into Sainsbury’s.
The new 225g pouch (£4.00) is the first of its kind to launch into 400 Sainsbury’s stores and can be found in the baking ingredient aisle. This will join the Good Hemp Milks currently stocked in the Sainsbury’s Milk Alternative section, as well as Good Hemp Oil which can be found in the oils section.
Good Hemp Seed Hearts are 100% natural de-hulled Hemp seeds and have a light nutty flavour.
Designed in a bright, re-sealable pack, the new product gives consumers an easy way to add high-quality, plant-based protein and Omega 3 to their daily diets.
Good Hemp seeds are incredibly versatile. Consumers can add them to the baking mix to give a lovely nutty texture to cakes and muffins, or sprinkle them on porridge, yogurt, salads and stir frys. They even make a great topping for fish. Just one 30g serving contains the entire recommended daily intake of Omega 3, making it easy for consumers to reach their daily targets by simply sprinkling on their morning cereal.
Donna Chappelle, Brand Manager for GOOD HEMP says, ‘We are very excited to have our new Hemp Seed Hearts listed in Sainsbury’s. This listing shows that hemp is truly becoming a recognised mainstream ingredient. Demand is increasing sharply along with that of all plant-based ingredients with naturally high nutritional value. We predict that this trend will continue as consumers continue to educate themselves on healthy eating.’
Hemp Seed Hearts are gluten-free, nut-free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
