Two thriving north east businesses have teamed up to help share their products with a wider audience.
Gateshead-based tea company, Easy Teasy, has joined forces with award-winning artisan coffee creator, Tynemouth Coffee Company, in order to deliver their unique tea creations to businesses across the UK.
Launching a new wholesale tea brand, Estate Tea Co, earlier this year, the team behind Easy Teasy has already experienced huge success and will now see this new product sold alongside Tynemouth Coffee Company’s offering as part of this new venture.
Tom Webb, director at Easy Teasy said: “Tynemouth Coffee Company creates fantastic products and we have huge respect for their work.
“We believe that our Estate Tea Co. products work perfectly alongside the coffee offering and we can’t wait to see the products lined up together as this new venture gets started.
“Tynemouth Coffee has a great network of wholesale customers set up across the UK and working alongside them is a great opportunity to promote our products to a wider audience.”
Tynemouth Coffee Company has long been searching for the perfect tea partner to complement their products, and after meeting with Tom at a food festival, director Paul Thompson feels they have finally found the perfect product.
Paul said: “We are delighted to announce this partnership with the team at Easy Teasy.
“We’ve done our research and the Easy Teasy and Estate Tea Co products line-up with our brand perfectly. We love that they are a local brand with a great product, looking to expand. It just seemed a natural fit.
“It’s early days but we hope to be able to educate people on the beauty of loose leaf tea and hope to soon see Easy Teasy’s products alongside ours in coffees shops across Tyne and Wear, before expanding further across the UK in the future.”
This partnership comes at exciting time for Easy Teasy, as they have also announced the addition of two new staff members as part of their sales team.
Luci Cowie, director at Easy Teasy added: “We’ve seen a brilliant first half of the year, beginning with the launch of Estate Tea Co, moving on to our new packaging, our partnership with Tynemouth Coffee and now the addition of Lee and Neil, who will help us to grow the sales element of the company.
“They have both been great additions to the business and have hit the ground running. We look forward to seeing what the next six months bring.”
