Simplee Aloe is shaking up the coconut water category by pioneering an Aloe Vera infused coconut water, the first to hit the UK on mainstream shelves. Just in time for August, the new hydrating Aloe Vera water with 25% Aloe Vera, will be launching exclusively in 260 UK Waitrose stores in a 1L bottle, RRP £2.80.
This new refreshing coconut water offers an alternative to water, combining the hydrating benefits of coconut water with the soothing effects of Aloe Vera. It is packed with nutrients that yield an array of health benefits such as potassium and magnesium which are crucial to the brain, nervous system and energy levels of the body.
The addition of Aloe Vera effectively increases the body’s ability to absorb vitamins C and E which help to improve gut health and enhance glowing skin. Simplee Aloe’s new water is low in sugar (with less than 5g of sugar per 100ml) and of course, all natural.
Loved by sports enthusiasts and celebrities, the UK coconut water market gained £28.5m in 2014, £44.5m in 2015 and 50m in 2016, according to IRI data 2016. Hot on the heels of the coconut water category, the Aloe Vera market has shown a rapid growth rate in the UK rising by 55% year on year since 2014.
The Simplee Aloe brand was created by two former City workers, Alex Lai and Raymond Pang, who have innovated the drinks market creating unique Aloe Vera products and boosting the UK’s interest in drinking Aloe Vera.
