This summer, UK consumers will experience Cadbury Mini Eggs as they never have before, in new summer limited edition packs – Cadbury Mini Eggs on Holiday.

The new packs will feature only yellow Cadbury Mini Eggs, the nation’s favourite[1], and what’s more, over 5,000 consumers will be instant winners.  Up for grabs via in pack vouchers are four luxury tailor made holidays worth up to £6,000 and 5,000 summer goodies, including Bluetooth speakers, beach bags and sunglasses.

The limited edition packs are available now and they will be supported by in-store activation throughout the summer.

The parent brand, Cadbury Mini Eggs, was the number one best-selling Easter product in 2017 with the hero 90g bag[2].

The popular candy shell eggs were available out of season for the first time last year with Cadbury Wini Eggs limited edition packs, which was named the number one selling NPD in the chocolate category in 2016 with 3.5m units sold in 14 weeks[3] and 60% of sales being incremental to chocolate share bags[4].

Laura Halton, Brand Executive at Cadbury said: “Sharing bags grew faster than total chocolate last year and Cadbury Wini Eggs was the single biggest contributor to this incremental growth[5]. As chocolate candy shell sales peak in the summer months and we see consumers looking for alternative treats[6], we believe Cadbury Mini Eggs on Holiday provides a great opportunity to drive the category.”

“What’s more, consumers have been calling for all-yellow egg packs so it’s egg-cellent that we can offer them this special sunshine inspired treat during the summer.”

The promotion kicks off this month and all prizes must be claimed by 31st December 2017.
