Maintaining their long-standing battle cry that ‘almonds aren’t always the answer,’ Paul and inquisitive squad of artisan bakers are proud to trumpet the arrival of two new sweet treats: Dark Chocolate Orange & Pistachio, Cranberries & White Chocolate. Whilst from the savoury side of the tracks comes: Wild Garlic & Rosemary, Jalapeno & Cheddar, Seaweed & Cracked Peppercorns and Sun-dried Tomatoes & Olives.

It was Paul Rostand who back in Feb 2015 decided that Tuscany’s legendary coffee accompaniment had so much more to offer as a craggy, double-baked setting where any number of flamboyant ‘flavour liaisons’ could take place. Of course for many, Italy’s finest nibble will always be the archetypal frothy coffee accompaniment and yet Paul and his fellow Dorset biscovites saw an opening for this timeless bite to significantly expand its usage repertoire, as a sophisticated soup or salad crouton, a fashionable canape or the last word in cheeseboard one-upmanship.

Three factories down the line (to accommodate ever expanding orders) and The Great British Biscotti Co is proving to be something of a hit at home and abroad (Hong Kong, Scandinavia, Germany and most interestingly Italy) as the ‘must have’ accessory for any in-the-know deli, farm shop, gastro pub, boutique hotel, airline or artisanal online operation to consider.

Ably assisted by fine foodie emissaries Cotswold Fayre and Cress (to name but a few) GBBC has just become a member of the flourishing ‘Not On The High Street’ movement with countless other significant nationwide listings about to be announced.
