Co yo announces packaging evolution

Britain’s first and most loved coconut milk yoghurt brand, CO YO, has evolved its packaging portfolio to reflect the simple, all-natural ingredient list and premium ethos of its product range.

Containing the same, award-winning dairy-free coconut milk yoghurts in the same five strong range (Natural, Raw Chocolate, Vanilla, Salted Caramel, Morello Cherry) with 125g, 250g or 400g pot varieties, the all new packaging are available at retailers nationwide now.

A clear reflection of CO YO’s value proposition, the design is kept sleek and minimal with eco-friendly board wrapped pots, which are recyclable and offer a clean and premium finish.

Innovation is at the heart of the CO YO brand, which was the first company to launch coconut milk yoghurt to the UK. With dairy-free yoghurt sales sector surging by 41.2% in 2016[1], the brand’s decision to evolve the aesthetic responds to demand from a burgeoning lifestyle sector.

The new pots have been created in-house by the CO YO design team. Each peel-away lid has a distinctive warm-hued colour aligned with the individual flavour variety. The pots feature a bold white background, evocative of the natural coconut colour and a clear reminder that one whole coconut goes into every 100g of dairy free yoghurt.

The range will be available in shelf ready packaging: the same product and weight as before, but in taller, slimmer pots for increased visibility in-store.

Every CO YO product is all-natural, made from whole ingredients and free from dairy, lactose, gluten and soya. It is the only coconut yoghurt brand that contains absolutely no preservatives, additives, refined sugar or added water. The company is the only coconut milk yoghurt brand to create the product on its own premises.

The CO YO coconut milk yoghurt range is available nationwide at Waitrose, Ocado, Tesco, Whole Foods Market, Planet Organic, Selfridges and over 1,000 independents with an RRP of £1.99 for 125g, £3.49 for 250g and £4.99 for 400g.
