New health food brand Boostball has launched a range of natural protein balls made from just seven natural ingredients.
The six-strong range – which includes four core variants and two vegan – targets on the go, health-conscious consumers looking for a natural, satisfying snack with high protein content and no compromise on flavour. Consumers can enjoy the snacks as a fitness snack pre or post gym, or simply as a tasty on-the-go or after-lunch snack.
The six variants within the range include:
- Chocolate Orange Mud Cake
- Coconut Fudge Cake
- Peanut Butter Cookie Dough
- Raw Chocolate Brownie
- Mint Chocolate Chip (Vegan)
- Maple & Cinnamon Roll (Vegan)
The brand, co founded by Dan Chambers and Steve Bessant (the latter ex Coconut Collaborative) was conceived with the brand’s strap line of ‘less ingredients, more protein’ at its heart and comes at a time when consumers are increasingly looking to incorporate more protein into their diets.
Dan Chambers, co-founder of Boostball says:
“When we set out to change the world with Boostball, we wanted to make sure we kept to our idea of ‘Less Ingredients, More Protein’, but we also wanted to make sure the ingredients we used were natural, healthy and beneficial to our bodies. Our balls are high in protein, which serves as building blocks for muscle growth, and they contain only natural sugars found in fruits and plants, making them a perfect nutritious snack, post-workout protein replenishment or as an energy booster during exercise.
Our balls are also a rich source of a wide variety of vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin A, B, E, B12, Calcium, Iron and Zinc.
Made with raw, cold pressed ingredients, there is no baking and no refining – just pure healthy protein bliss with every bite.”
Steve Bessant, nutritional coach and co-founder of Boostball, says:
“Boostballs are a great alternative to your average sweet snack. They contain only real wholefood ingredients, so you know you’re not getting any nasty additives or refined sugars. They’re also a source of natural vitamins, minerals and fibre, as well as being high in protein – making them nourishing and filling. Boostballs’ combination of protein and carbohydrates is perfect if you’re active and on the go, or just looking for an energy boost to carry you through to your next meal.”
The Boostball range is available in retail from www.boostball.com, independent health stockists and Amazon RRP £1.79.
The Boostball range is available in wholesale from: Tree of Life, The Health Store and The Grape Tree.
