Produced from 100% late harvest Roussanne from the Domaine Sainte Rose vineyards in the Languedoc, the Sweet Sainte Rose is burnished gold in colour with a soft almond and delicate honeysuckle nose.  On the palate, it shows delicious orchard fruit flavours with excellent acidity and prolonged finish.  Serve off chilled with cheese.

Comments Charles Simpson, co-owner, “This is the first sweet wine we have produced and we are very pleased with the result. Sweet Sainte Rose has only been produced in small volumes, but we are delighted to be able to make it available to our customers in the UK.  We believe this is the first late harvest Roussanne from France and we will be pouring it at the London Wine Fair in May.”

Sweet Sainte Rose, 15.5% abv is available from Simpsons Wine Imports and DSR website only. RRP £12.99 (50cl).
