Chicago town reveals three new flavours

Chicago Town, the UK’s no.1 frozen pizza brand from leading manufacturer Dr. Oetker, has revealed it will introduce three new products from March 2017.

The best-selling The Takeaway range features unique rising dough to give consumers that real takeaway taste. This march, it welcomes two new flavours to its Large product range: Limited Edition Pulled Buffalo Chicken and Barbecue Feast.

The Limited Edition Pulled Buffalo Chicken showcases tender pulled buffalo spiced chicken, red onions and melted mozzarella on a base of brand new buffalo spiced sauce and Chicago Town’s signature tomato sauce stuffed crust.

The Barbecue Feast, launching in line with the growing barbecue flavour trend within the overall pizza category, features chorizo, red and yellow peppers, red onions and melted mozzarella with barbecue sauce all on a classic base. The flavour is a great addition to the brand and the lighter crust makes it the perfect option for every day family occasions as well as a treat occasion. Research has shown that instances of barbecue sauce on menus has risen 94% over 2 years and is particularly popular in larger households[1].

The two new variants join other flavours in The Takeaway family including Four Cheese, Chicken and Bacon Melt and Pepperoni Plus.

The popular Deep Dish range with its unique dish shape welcomes a Limited Edition American BBQ flavour as its latest addition. With chorizo, red onions, red peppers and melted mozzarella on Chicago Town’s signature BBQ sauce, it’s a small but tasty pizza that packs a punch when it comes to taste.

This hero in the freezer is the perfect versatile treat; a favourite at tea-time, lunch-time or to be enjoyed as a snack, any time, in less than 20 minutes in the oven or microwaved in 3 ½ minutes.

The Deep Dish range is currently being supported with a campaign positioning the product as the versatile dish for any mealtime occasion. The campaign includes TV investment, with a new 10-second tag running across national TV and digital platforms. The multi-layered campaign will also be supported by PR, digital and a social media campaign centred around #NotJustForDinner.

The Limited Edition American BBQ joins the other delicious flavours in the Deep Dish family including Pepperoni, Four Cheese, Mega Meaty, Ham & Pineapple, and Chicken Club.
