Forman & Field launches Smoked Salmon Jerky

Forman & Field, the UK’s luxury food service, has launched H. Forman & Son Smoked Salmon Jerky.

Already popular in north America, this is the only widely available salmon jerky for sale in the UK.

Meat jerky has surged in popularity as health-conscious shoppers look for low-carb, high protein snacks.

But many jerkies actually contain additives such as MSG, sodium nitrate and sugar.

Forman and Field’s Smoked Salmon Jerky contains simply Scottish salmon, rock salt, smoke and love – and is naturally low carb, with high levels of Omega 3s.

H. Forman & Son has been curing salmon for over 100 years, always using the same fresh Scottish salmon.

The salmon is smoked within 48 hours of being pulled from water.

This 100% natural, sugar and fat free snack can be enjoyed on its own or used to add a smoky punch to salads, scrambled eggs or pasta.

The pack has an RRP of £9.95 for a 250g pack.

Lance Forman, of the owner of H. Forman & Son, developed the product himself.

The grandson of the company’s founder, he is constantly looking for new ways to showcase his flagship product, he said:
