Ella’s Kitchen is expanding its product offering with the launch of its first range of 100% organic meals designed for growing toddlers from 12 months +.

The ‘my little BIG meals’ range features six new recipes, each with at least five different fruits and vegetables.

The range offers toddlers a variety of different tastes and textures from dishes such as Chicken Paella-ella-ella and stacked and veggie Moussaka topped with creamy sauce to traditional favourites including chunky pasta Bolognese Bake and beefy Beef Stew.

The range follows research revealing that parents of little ones aged 12 months+ are ready to move on from staged weaning to more ‘grown up’ meals, which will keep their toddler full of energy.

The ‘my little BIG meals’ range signifies a distinct change from the traditional pouch for older toddlers.

Ella’s Kitchen currently delivers 20% share of wet and dry baby food and is number one in each stage of weaning.

Entering the toddler market with the ‘my little BIG meals’ range is the next step for the brand, in its bid to help develop healthy eating habits.

Paul Lindley, Ella’s Dad and founder of Ella’s Kitchen said:

“Ella’s Kitchen has been helping parents through every stage of the weaning journey and now we are excited to introduce the ‘my little BIG meals’ range so growing tots can enjoy the healthy, handy and fun of Ella’s Kitchen foods for longer.

“The ‘My little BIG meals’ range is packed full of tasty flavours with at least five different healthy fruits and vegetables in every pack.

“We are proud to have created a product full of high quality organic ingredients with no added salt or sugar that will help toddlers continue on their healthy eating journey.”

Ella’s Kitchen’s ‘my little BIG meals’ range will be available in stores from August 2013, RRP £2.19.

The launch will be supported by a marketing campaign across press, online and social media which will focus on the nutritional balance of the range and fruit and vegetable content, with at least five portions in each pack.
