WALL’S UNVEILS NEW YOGURT ICE CREAM

Wall’s, the ice cream brand from Unilever UK , is launching a new range into the category; Wall’s Soft Scoop with a Touch of Yogurt.

Available in two variants, Peach & Vanilla and Strawberry & Vanilla, Wall’s with a Touch of Yogurt will have the same taste credentials as the Wall’s Soft Scoop ice cream.

The difference is the new products will boast 33% less fat than the existing Soft Scoop Vanilla flavour ice cream, with 65 calories per serving.

“We’re confident that the new offering will drive frequency of purchase for the Wall’s brand as consumers take advantage of the lighter properties of the product and eat it more regularly than standard ice cream.

”Walls Soft Scoop has been around for over 80 years and is currently worth £20.3 million in value sales and continues to grow in popularity.

“Our Soft Scoop Light variant is in 13.9% growth with a 9% share of the Dessert market, so we know that consumers are increasingly looking for products that provide both taste and health credentials.”

Wall’s Soft Scoop with a Touch of Yogurt will come in 1.7L tub format with packaging in line with the rest of the Soft Scoop brand in a blue tub, displaying swirls of ice cream and strong Wall’s Branding.

Wall’s Soft Scoop with a Touch of Yogurt will RRP at £2.09 per unit. There will be 6 units in a case.
