URBAN FRUIT ANNOUNCES NEW DRIED FRUIT RANGE FOR AUTUMN
Dried fruit brand, Urban Fruit, has announced three new additions to its range, the first of their kind on the European market.
The new flavours will be in store from the middle of October, providing a new fruit offering for snacking during the winter months.
The new flavours will join the existing selection of Mango, Pineapple, Strawberries, Cherries and Raspberry as Urban Fruit celebrates strong sales, growing the dried fruit category overall this year.
New additions include:

The three new flavours will launch mid October
1) Superberry - A mix of Golden Berries, Cranberries and Red Grapes. Golden berries (also known as Inca Berries) have more Vitamin C than oranges, offering a great source of protection against colds as the winter months close in.
Additionally, gram per gram, they have more iron than spinach, more fibre than prunes and more potassium than bananas.
2) Golden Apricots - Apricots gently baked without the use of Sulphites. Instead, they boast that they’re ‘naturally bronzed by the sun’, and ‘handpicked at perfect ripeness’ giving them a honey-like taste and dark golden orange hue.
3) Apple & Pear
Pear and apples baked gently on urban fruit farms, within three hours of picking.
Urban Fruit’s Founding Partner Giles Brook said:
“We’ve pioneered natural dried fruit from the start, by gently baking fruit without the need for Sulphites or added sugars, which are the norm for this category.
“We’re delighted to now offer Apricots, after years of consumer requests and research.
“The new additions to the range are incredibly tasty, have ‘no funny stuff’ added and will further grow the category by attracting new buyers and rewarding Urban Fruit loyalists.’
