NEW TABASCO CHEDDAR CHEESE
For the first time ever, the taste of TABASCO Sauce has been combined with Cheddar Cheese.
The new TABASCO Cheddar Cheese range from Long Clawson Dairy aims to transform a dish through the flavour of TABASCO Sauce, combined with Mature Cheddar Cheese.
The new range available from Tesco, will be available in four varieties – 5 x 30g snacking portions (£2.39), 140g pre-packed slices (£2.39), a 200g pre-packed wedge (£2.39) and a 1.3kg deli block (£10.99).
Designed to be eaten hot or cold, the snacking portions provide a quick snack with a kick, and the slices are designed for livening up salads or sandwiches or on top of ordinary dishes such as jacket potatoes or pizza.
For those wanting to be more adventurous in the kitchen, the wedge is also created for grating or cubing into dishes such as Macaroni Cheese or Jambalaya in keeping with the origins of TABASCO Sauce.
The cheese has been produced by Long Clawson Dairy, which has over 100 years of cheese-making experience together with the family owned McIlhenny Company that has been making its pepper sauce for over 140 years.
