NEW SUGAR RANGE FOR BAKERS LAUNCHES IN THE UK
Sugar brand Whitworths has launched a new ‘Whitworths for Baking’ range.
The range, comprising six baking sugars – fine caster, superfine icing, fine demerara, crunchy demerara, light soft brown sugar and dark soft brown sugar, as well as a ‘Twist and Sprinkle’ icing sugar duster – has been made and packaged for home bakers.
Whitworths has designed user-friendly, re-sealable packs, meaning less mess and waste than traditional packaging.
The packs also each come with a recipe; from chocolate brownies to brown sugar shortbread, Victoria sponge cake to a recipe for classic vanilla buttercream.

To coincide with the launch of the new Whitworths for Baking sugar range, a brand new website has also been unveiled – http://www.whitworths-sugar.co.uk.
This will provide bakers will information they need on the sugar range, as well as top tips and recipe ideas.
Kate Moore, home economist and recipe consultant on the new Whitworths for Baking sugar range, said:

Each Whitworths for Baking sugar packet is colour coded so consumers can easily distinguish between the different types of sugars available.
The new Whitworths for Baking range is available nationwide at Asda,Tesco, Waitrose and other leading stockists across the UK.
