NEW CHEESE LUNCHBOX SNACKS FROM PRIMULA
Primula is bringing a new product to children’s lunchboxes with the launch of an exciting new cheese snack: Primula Pods.
Available in two flavours, Cheese and Cheese ‘n’ Chive, Primula Pods are flavoured, high in calcium and with a firm consistency designed as a lunchbox snack or after-school treat.
Sold in net bags of five, one for each school day of the week, Primula Pods have an easy-open plastic shell boldly coloured in blue for Cheese Pods and green for Cheese ‘n’ Chive.
Each Pod will also feature an illustration of one of the adventures of Primula’s mouse character Mr Nibbles and his family.

Children can join the Nibbles family adventures in the world of Pod Island online with a new and interactive website www.primulapods.co.uk.
Packed with stories, characters and games, Pod Island can offer entertainment in an environment that parents know young children can explore in safety.
The website will also feature competitions and prizes to win and become an ‘Official Pod Island Explorer’.
Available from September 2012, Primula is celebrating the launch of the Pods with a special on-pack competition to win exclusive limited edition Primula Pod lunchboxes which can be customised with the ‘official explorers’ name.
As with all the Primula range, the new Primula Pods contain a high proportion of cheese making them high in calcium and protein.
They are also gluten free, contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, and are suitable for vegetarians.
The new Primula Pods should be stored chilled, but they can be used safely in lunchboxes.
Primula Pods (5x20g net) will be stocked initially in Morrison’s from 24 September and in independent retailers from September priced around £1.29.
