FIRST EVER GASTRONOMIC QUARTERLY
Blue Collar Gastronomy is to jump forward several paces since it was made known by food writer, Gareth Jones, through his www.garethjonesfood.com blog launched a few days before Christmas 2010 at the Les Glorieuses de Bresse festival for the world’s only AOC chicken.
Two years on and +6000 readers come to garethjonesfood.com every month.
In collaboration with wine writer and food entrepreneur, Keith Reeves, he and Jones are set to launch the UK’s first ever gastronomic quarterly.
Four 58 page issues per annum for £38 – all free of invasive advertising or editorial promotions.
It is titled ‘In Search of TASTE’ because taste – le gout, gusto, schmeck, etc – is what the new title is on a mission to hunt down and share.

Gareth Jones has been offered the Food Editor’s chair, he said:
“Not surprisingly, I have accepted.
“This is the best food writing gig there can be in the UK.
“I promise to bring depth, passion, my experience, fire and truth to what I write and words I commission from experts who will come from beyond these shores.”
The inspiration behind ‘In Search of TASTE’, is the wine writer and food entrepreneur Keith Reeves.
He and Jones got together after a chance meeting organised by the Italian Trade Centre in London.
Jones says:
“Keith Reeves will cover and explain wine with new eyes and an approach as fresh and crisp as a bottle of Savennières or a Joe Allen Martini.”
Other writers, chefs and broadcasters are already engaged for ‘In Search of TASTE’ and will bring their life skills learned in Michelin starred kitchens, vineyards, on farms and from their travel notebooks.
