Cathedral City is set to expand its seasonal pack range this year with the addition of Selections.
Aiming to stand out on shelf, it will be the third year the brand has featured the festive pack designs which go on shelf in early November.
Cathedral City Selections, the new adult snacking range, containing individually wrapped pieces of Cathedral City Cheddar, is to be given its own version of the festive makeover including a special seasonal poem on the back, to add to the festive mood.
The three Selections SKU’s; Mature, Extra Mature and the Variety pack, will be introduced with the festive packaging, alongside Cathedral City Mild, Vintage, Mature, Extra Mature, Lighter and Mature Twin Pack.
The Pre-pack cheese category is worth £2.5bn and is growing at 3.3% in value.
Everyday Block Cheddar is the largest sector worth £1.1bn driven by mature and growing 1.1% in value.
Within this, Cathedral City has hit a key milestone, achieving £250m in value sales, up 20% year on year.
