R&R ICE CREAM ADDS NESTLE POTZ VARIANT TO RANGE
R&R Ice Cream is adding a brand new Nestlé Potz variant and developments to its most popular brands this winter.
The ice cream manufacturer is bolstering its Potz range with the brand new Nestlé Quality Street My Purple Potz, the first time the £97m confectionery brand is introduced into mini tubs.
Mini pots is the fastest-growing segment in ice cream.
With the new limited edition variant, R&R is aiming to add incremental value to the ice cream category by appealing to existing Potz consumers as well as fans of the popular confectionery brand.
Available in a 160ml serving (RRP £1.39) Nestlé Quality Street My Purple Potz will be rolled out this month.
It combines chocolate ice cream, fused with hazelnut pieces and swirls of caramel and topped with chopped hazelnuts– the only mini pot brand with hazelnut inclusions and contains no artificial colours, flavours and preservatives.
Following consumer research, R&R will also make improvements across the eight-strong Nestlé Potz range.
Potz will be repackaged into a new, 160ml serving, making it appeal for a one portion serving plus even easier to share other variants.
The new packaging and striking design, hopes to create further stand-out at the fixture and will be boosted by in-store promotional support plus consumer activity, when the range is rolled out from September(RRP £1.39).
