NEW COVENT GARDEN UNVEILS HALLOWEEN SOUP OF THE MONTH
Fresh soup brand New Covent Garden is presenting a seasonal flavour with its latest Soup of the Month.
‘Pumpkin Ghoulash’ is the latest recipe to have been developed from the brand’s social media campaign, which invites soup-lovers to submit recipes based on a particular theme.
Created by Glen Young, ‘Pumpkin Ghoulash’ is inspired by the traditional Hungarian dish, ‘goulash’.
It comprises a blend of tomatoes and pumpkin with carrot chunks and pepper strips.
Nigel Parrott, Hain Daniels’ Group Marketing Director said:
“This month’s theme called for ‘fiendishly frightening’ recipes to appeal to consumers who love to get into the Halloween spirit, and Glen’s cleverly- named soup fits the bill perfectly.
“Its bold, spooky packaging will capture the attention of consumers and draw them to the soup fixture.
“Rich and satisfying, this recipe makes the most of seasonal pumpkins and will appeal to consumers seeking warming comfort food on those cold October nights.”
Pumpkin Ghoulash is available in outers of six, with an RRP of £2.20.
