NESTLE REDUCES THE SIZE OF ITS QUALITY STREET TINS
September 7th, 2012
Nestlé has reduced the size of its Quality Street tins from 1kg to 820g.
The 18% reduction are being sold by Tesco for £5, the same price as last year’s larger tins.
Nestlé is claiming last years rsp was lower.
Nestlé is the only confectioner to reduce its tin sizes, while last year Kraft cut a tin of Cadbury’s Roses from 975g to 850g and Heroes from 950g to 800g.
It is yet to be confirmed if Kraft will reduce it’s tins this Christmas season.
