GORDON’S GIN AND BOTTLEGREEN PARTNER TO CREATE ELDERFLOWER G&T’S

September 3rd, 2012

Bottlegreen Drinks Company  has announced an exclusive partnership with Gordon’s Gin.

The exclusive launch is a joint limited edition retail campaign between the two brands.

The Cotswold-based company has teamed up with Gordon’s for their first ever in-store partnership, which sees 50ml mini versions of its Elderflower cordial attached to bottles of Gordon’s Gin.

Available in multiple retailers, the launch aims to capitalise on the growing trend for entertaining at home and the late summer season.

The launch signals the introduction of the Elderflower G&T serve, based on the British drink – but with an Elderflower twist.

Bottlegreen’s elderflower cordial is matched to provide an addition to the nation’s drink and consumers will be encouraged to follow four steps to create the  aperitif.

This is the first time that Bottlegreen Drinks Company has conducted a partnership with an alcohol brand on this scale and hopes to provide a step-change in demonstrating the versatility of bottlegreen’s products.

Simon Speers, Managing Director of bottlegreen drinks, said:

“This is a very exciting initiative for bottlegreen.

“Bottlegreen products are extremely versatile and this partnership has provided the ideal opportunity to demonstrate exactly how.

“We hope that through this partnership we will expand the product experience for our loyal customers, as well as attract new users to the brand.”

The launch will be supported by an integrated communications campaign spanning press, online, in-store (barkers and off shelf display) and PR activity, driving awareness.

To drive purchase, the limited edition will also feature a 50p off voucher to be redeemed against a bottlegreen 500ml elderflower cordial.

The joint venture will also be served in the on-trade and driven by bespoke POS material.
