ATKINS UNVEILS EASIER USE CARTONS FOR CONSUMERS
Atkins has introduced a new re-sealable packaging format to its ready-to-drink cartons, a first for the diet sector.
The announcement is part of the low carb brand’s ongoing commitment to make weight loss satisfying and convenient.
The low carb, low sugar ready-to-drink shakes, which span the Day Break and Advantage ranges, now feature a re-sealable cap, which aims to provide added convenience to consumers.
The new on-the-go format is designed for gym goers, who drink the product post workout, or slimmers who consume the drinks in the office or while away from the home, as the cap allows re-sealing.
The shakes, which can be consumed on all four phases of the diet and include three flavours – Café Royale, Chocolate and Strawberry Yoghurt – are already SKUs in the range of low carb products.
Peter Valentine, managing director of Atkins UK said:
“We want to make losing weight as simple as possible for dieters with busy work and social schedules.
“We predict that the new packaging will encourage uplift in sales, as consumers take advantage of the benefits of the new format cartons, which are more convenient for busy lifestyles.”
The Atkins Day Break and Advantage ready-to-drink ranges are available at Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Waitrose, Boots and Superdrug, as well as online retailers including Amazon.
