Oreo has announced the arrival of new Oreo 2 Biscuit Snack Packs under the slogan ‘a great way to bring fun back to lunchtime.’
The new pack is designed to fit in all types of lunchboxes and is available in Original and Chocolate Crème.
They hope to appeal during the back to school period for lunchboxes and are available as a 220g multipack of 10 priced at £1.79 (RRP).
The launch will be supported by a £1.3 million UK marketing investment in 2012, including TV advertising and high-profile in-store activity.
Jorgelina Melano, Brand Manager at Kraft Foods, said:
“Biscuits are a major part of the growing lunchbox opportunity – they’re more popular than crisps in UK lunchboxes, making them a key range for retailers.
“However, it can be a real struggle to make lunchtime exciting, so the 2 biscuit snack packs are a great way for all the family to enjoy a snack while also transforming lunch from dull time to play time.
“Perfect for the whole family, the new Oreo snack packs are the ultimate treat to everyone’s lunchbox.”
The 2 biscuit snack packs are the latest addition to the Oreo biscuit family, which includes classic Oreo, Oreo chocolate crème, Double Stuff and the baby of the family, Mini Oreo.
