NEW MINT MAYONNAISE FROM FUSSELLS’

August 29th, 2012

New to the condiment market is Fussels’ Mint Mayonnaise.

Made with farmer Andy Fussells’ rapeseed oil, Fussels Fine Foods Mint Mayonnaise uses free-range eggs and is a mayonnaise with a twist of mint.

Available from Tesco stores throughout the South West, select Waitrose stores and independent shops nationwide and online, the new condiment has an RRP of£3.50.

Andy said: “The fresh taste of mint combined with the creaminess of the free-range eggs in the mayonnaise seemed like an obvious blend to me.

“We’ve used it with hot sausages, lamb chops and a dollop will transform your mash potato! It is definitely one of those products that once you try you will love.”

Mint Mayonnaise joins the Fussels Fine Foods Classic Mayonnaise and other sauces, dips and dressings in the range which all use the Fussels Fine Foods Rapeseed Oil.

Andy creates recipes using his Rapeseed Oil with the addition of other locally sourced ingredients.

For example, Fussels’ Cold Pressed Chilli Rapeseed Oil – which won an award for innovation this year – uses ‘Deer’s Leap’ Chillies grown by a neighbouring Somerset Farmer.

Andy has also developed a (local) Beer & Horseradish Sauce with Garlic Rapeseed Oil, Classic and Mint Mayonnaises and English Herb Dressing and Quince & Cider Dressing.
