Savoury pie brand, Fleur De Lys, plans to launch a brand new range of unbaked puff pastry pies into the Foodservice market, in September 2012.
Fleur De Lys’ new Unbaked Puff Pies (200g) range includes three filling variants, each topped with a French puff pastry lid.
Fleur De Lys was purchased by Holland’s Pies in 1972.
Holland’s Pies is the North West’s best-loved pie makers; producing a range of delicious pies, puddings and pastries.
Flavour options for the new range include:
Steak & Kidney Pie – a shortcrust pastry base filled with diced steak and beef kidney in gravy, topped with a puff pastry lid.
Minced Beef & Onion Pie – a shortcrust pastry base filled with minced beef, onions and gravy, topped with a puff pastry lid.
Chicken & Mushroom Pie – a shortcrust pastry base filled with chicken breast and mushrooms in a white sauce, topped with a puff pastry lid.
Combining Holland’s Pies’ heritage and expertise in fillings, with the Fleur De Lys puff pastry, these new additions aim to provide an option for Foodservice main menus, specials boards and individual meal occasions.
Fleur De Lys’ new range of pies include flavour variants which are popular sellers within the savoury pie market and uses only the finest ingredients, from prime cuts of meat to the freshest vegetables.
