CHESHIRE FARM ICE CREAM LAUNCHES NEW FROZEN FRUIT SMOOTHIES
Cheshire Farm Ice Cream have launched two fat free and dairy free Frozen Smoothies.
With 25 years under their belt, smooth operators Cheshire Farm Ice Cream are making their way into the frozen smoothie market.
Launching their Tropical and Triple Berry frozen fruit smoothies this month, the Cheshire Farm innovators are proud to launch this dairy free, gluten free and fat free products.
Available in 500ml and 110ml tubs with a brand design that matches this approach to iced treats, the product is targeted at those seeking a ‘healthy alternative’.
Inspired initially by a gap in the health market for frozen rewards with little or no fat, both frozen smoothies are under 80 calories per 100ml, opening up the arena to a much wider audience.
This includes many of those who have avoided this food area owing to health reasons, fat content, allergies and indulgence avoidance.
The frozen smoothies are produced using a mixture of fruit juice and fresh fruit pulp, creating an intense fruit flavour much like smoothie drinks.
The difference is, this is then frozen to below -18 degrees forming a consistency very similar to ice cream.
The Triple Berry smoothie includes seasonal raspberries, blueberries and blackcurrants, blended, whilst the Tropical flavour features the exotic flavours of mango, passion fruit and banana.
Jonathan Fell, Director of Cheshire Farm Ice Cream said:
“As a business we are keen to develop new and innovative ways of producing fresh products, whilst still remaining true to our family business and traditional ice cream making values.
“We wanted to open our market up to as those that would normally shy away from ice cream for varying reasons, whilst still being able to provide the intense flavour and quality of other Cheshire Farm products.”
