Baxters is launching five new soup flavours in time for winter.
The UK’s soup brand has also enhanced 14 of its existing recipes as well as revamping the packaging across its soup ranges.
And following the success of the brand’s 2011/12 advertising campaign, Baxters is back on TV with its Lochside commercial kicking off on 15 October.
Airing for 12 weeks, the Lochside ad will showcase specific ranges from the portfolio including; Deli Inspired, Healthy and Stay Full.
This year will also see the addition of radio advertising, allowing Baxters to reach listeners on their way to do the weekly shop.
The campaign will be on air from 29 October and throughout November.
A second phase is planned throughout January and February 2013.
In the traditional Favourites range, there are two new variants: Golden Vegetable and Beef & Vegetable.
Chicken Broth, Lentil & Bacon, Scotch Broth, Royal Game, Cock-a-leekie and Highlanders Broth have all had their recipes improved.
Baxters is also introducing a new Garden Pea & Mint variety and the Italian Tomato with Basil and Butternut Squash & Red Pepper both have improved recipes.
Beef & Vegetable is also the new variant in the Chunky family, a range of more filling soups.
And Baxters’ Deli Inspired range welcomes a new Fragrant Thai Vegetable flavour.
Inspired by ingredients from across the globe, Deli Inspired is a new indulgent range.
To help remind the nation how healthy soup is, Baxters is highlighting on its cans the number of ‘5-a-day’ included.
Some of Baxters soup varieties contain up to three portions of vegetables such as the Chunky Smoked Bacon & 3 Bean.
Many, including the new Garden Pea & Mint in the Vegetarian range contain two portions of vegetables.
There are no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives in any of Baxters’ soups.
The new range will be available in all major UK supermarkets from October 2012.
