GRAHAM’S FAMILY DAIRY REFORMULATES ITS SPREADABLE BUTTER
Graham’s The Family Dairy, Scotland’s largest independent dairy company, has reformulated its Spreadable Butter to give it more ‘spreadability.’
In response to consumer feedback, the Stirlingshire based dairy has further refined the process of churning the butter and oil to achieve a smoother consistency of the product when applied to breads and oatcakes.
To highlight this development, from August the tub lid of all 250g and 500g packs will incorporate the promotional descriptor: ‘spreadable now spreads even better.
Spreadable Butter from Graham’s The Family Dairy has achieved over £500,000 in sales and now accounts for 11% of overall sales across Graham’s award winning butter and spreads portfolio.
Produced in a new £1.2m on-site butter plant at the family’s Airthrey Kerse Farm in Bridge of Allan, the spreadable butter is listed by leading multiples in Scotland, including Waitrose, Sainsburys, Tesco, Asda and Morrisons.
The product is not currently listed in stores in England or Wales.
