DORSET CEREALS LAUNCHES LIMITED EDITION CEREAL
Dorset Cereals have created a limited edition pack of their top selling Berries & Cherries cereal in support of The Woodland Trust and exclusive to Sainsbury’s.
Three pence of every pack sold will go to help people across the UK plant six million trees in celebration of the Queen’s Diamond jubilee year.
Every pack of Berries & Cherries sold in Sainsbury’s includes details on how consumers can enter a ‘Win a Mini Orchard’ competition to win one of 25 mini orchard packs of British apples, plum and pears trees to plant in your garden or have in pots on a balcony or patio.
The packs will be available until stocks last at £3.99 in Sainsbury’s from July 2012.
Ali Hooper, Brand manager, Dorset Cereals said:
“It’s a sad fact that the UK is one of the most under-forested countries in Europe, which is why we have been supporting the Woodland Trust over the past two years.

“We even planted our very own woodland of 500 trees here at Poundbury in Dorset.
“However, we wanted to create a limited edition pack that meant that our consumers could help out too.
“Sainsbury’s have long been supporters of The Woodland Trust with their Woodland eggs and chicken so we approached them with our idea.
“We are all thrilled to be involved in the project transforming our countryside and providing a lasting and meaningful tribute for many years to come.”
Dorset Cereals are created in Poundbury, and include Mueslis, Granolas, Porridges, and Cereal Bars.
