Following the success of their three classic country meals based on game and wild foods, the favourite Classic Venison Stew, Rabbit and Flageolet Beans and Guinea Fowl and Lentils, the range is now expanding to include four new rich and delicious ragu sauces.
The new range consists of slow-braised British Pork with Red Wine, Smoked Bacon and Rosemary; Venison with Red Wine and Juniper Berry; Rabbit with Cider and Sage; and British Beef with ale, mushrooms and mustard.
The sauces are an accompaniment to pasta, as a topping for a jacket potato, or an easy and tasty filling for lasagna.
Alternatively they can be served with crusty bread and a green salad for a quick meal.
The meals are free of any additives, preservatives or stabilisers and provide two of your five-a-day, all for less than 300 calories.
David Oliver Ready Meals cost £5.99 and are available from selected Waitrose shops and from Ocado.
