Hancocks Cash and Carry has launched a treat sized chocolate filled cornet.

Offered as a confectionery product, there is no need to freeze it as it contains nothing frozen.

The cornets are presented in the style of an ice cream cone but contain a special chocolate filling topped with chocolate beans.

Weighing 25g, they make for a snack sized treat, retailing at 49p each.

Jonathan Summerley, Hancocks purchasing director, said:

“These are a really fun idea and we expect them to sell extremely well in all types of store.

“Sold in a self merchandising box, they look great on the shelf, remain affordable and earn retailers a margin in excess of 38%.

“Hancocks is getting a well deserved reputation for offering retailers something a bit different.”
