LIMITED EDITION FLAVOURS LAUNCHED BY MR. FREEZE
Two limited edition flavours, Orange and Blackcurrant, have been launched by freezepop brand, Mr. Freeze.
There are just 35,000 cases of the new stock available to retailers looking to offer variety to customers and maximise sales over the summer months.
Consumer market research carried out by Mr. Freeze highlighted a gap in the market for these children’s flavours.
Currently available in the 90ml format, the limited edition flavours come with a recommended retail price of 22p, which remains a key selling point for retailers looking to target children and price- conscious parents.
Brian Hartley, Mr. Freeze Business Manager, commented:
“During our research, consumers overwhelmingly stated that orange and blackcurrant are two flavours which would enhance the Mr. Freeze portfolio of products; not least because they are considered popular children’s flavours.
“As we continually seek to retain and attract new customers, innovation is vital for our brand and therefore, integrating these new flavours for a limited time will expand our knowledge on flavour preferences and provide us with strong foundations for 2013 production.”
The limited edition stock forms part of a large investment into the Mr. Freeze brand for 2012, alongside the new countertop freezers and merchandising and POS available to retailers this year.
