DOMINO’S LAUNCHES NEW MEXICANO PIZZA RANGE
Domino’s has launched three new Mexicano pizzas – chicken, beef and vegetarian.
The meat varieties feature chorizo with beef or chicken plus red and green chillies, tomatoes and onions topped onto Domino’s fresh dough base, along with vine-ripened tomato sauce and 100 per cent mozzarella cheese.
The vegetarian version features the same veggie toppings but with added sweetcorn and spinach.
All the Mexicano pizzas are topped off with a drizzle of cool sour cream.
Domino’s is also launching Mexicano Stuffed Crust.
The new stuffed crust has fresh green and red chillies and mozzarella cheese with a hint of garlic and herbs, stuffed into Domino’s fresh dough crust.
To celebrate the new Mexicano range, Domino’s is running a special prelaunch on Facebook to enable consumers to try the pizzas before they go on general sale.
For a limited period, fans of Domino’s UK page can now order a large Mexicano pizza first and also grab a £5 off the usual pizza price.
People need to visit the Mexicano tab on the Domino’s Pizza UK Facebook page and click on the order button to be taken through to www.dominos.co.uk where the pizza will automatically be added to their checkout basket.
Simon Wallis, sales and marketing director of Domino’s Pizza, said:
“We wanted to inject a bit of Mexican sunshine and bring a bit of heat to pizza lovers this summer so we’re delighted to launch the new Mexicano range.
“There is a strong trend for Mexican food at the moment and with two meat versions, a vegetarian one and a Mexicano Stuffed Crust too, there’s something for everyone.
“We can’t wait to hear what our amigos on Facebook think of the new range before it goes on general sale.”
The Mexicano range is available on general sale from June 25, 2012 in Domino’s UK stores.
