RISO GALLO LAUNCHES NEW EXPRESSO RISOTTO RANGE
Riso Gallo, Italy’s risotto rice producer for over 150 years, has launched a new convenient express product to complement its range of easy cook rices.
Riso Gallo Risotto Expresso allows consumers to create a risotto in just two minutes – created for those who like good food, quickly.
Riso Gallo is a sixth generation family business with an Italian heritage and their new Expresso range hopes to help make risotto more accessible, particularly for the time poor.
Italian food and specifically risotto has experienced a resurgence in popularity recently and market value sales of Riso Gallo risotto rice were up 6% year on year (to end Dec 2011), according to Riso Gallo.
Each pack contains no artificial colourings or preservatives
The company is one of the largest rice producers in Europe producing over 120,000 tonnes of risotto rice in the last 12 months.
The new Expresso range includes three flavours; Funghi (mushroom), Quattro Formaggi (four cheese), and Fantasia Di Verdure (vegetable medley).
Each 250g pack contains no artificial colourings or preservatives, no MSG and is gluten free.
