The ‘chunky’ revolution first saw inclusions such as cookie dough, brownie and cookies and crème pieces, which were added to ice-cream to deliver new texture dimensions.
Consumers enjoyed these added extras and Pecan Deluxe’s latest ‘chunky’ chocolate inclusion hopes to continue this trend.
These chocolate nuggets contain buttery caramel and have been crafted to hold up to 50 percent more of the company’s sauce, which is encased in milk chocolate.
To help food manufacturers meet the growing demands for new and unique ice cream flavours, Pecan Deluxe also offers a bespoke inclusions service and can tailor its inclusions according to specific customer requirements.
The company’s chocolate moulding facility is capable of handling its own character shapes as well as custom-made moulds, which typically turn out 1g to 2g pieces.
These can be solid or have a contrasting centre like its caramel sauce or a fruit filling.
This bespoke offering enables Pecan Deluxe’s customers to personalise products with their own shapes and flavour combinations, helping them to keep ahead of the competition with innovative inclusions.
With over 250 inclusions, Pecan Deluxe is hoping to increase the market for ‘chunkier’ ice-cream creations predicted to hit full force later this year.
