Following a traditional Texan family recipe Amy’s Kitchen’s Chilli includes ingredients such as onions, sweet peppers, red beans and tofu, so it can be enjoyed by vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters alike.
With an RRP of £2.39 Amy’s Kitchen new Chilli will be available from Wholefoods stores and independent health food retailers from April before rolling out into Waitrose stores nationwide in May 2012.
Damien Threadgold, European Commercial Director at Amy’s Kitchen said:
“We are committed to producing a range of wholesome, healthy and interesting foods from across the world and making them easily accessible to the mainstream consumer.
“We strongly believe that meat-free should not mean taste-free as demonstrated in the launch of our new Chilli and having the backing of retailers such as Whole Foods and Waitrose demonstrates their understanding that today British consumers need choice.”
Amy’s Kitchen new Chilli is the latest innovation from the company, which has been developing its offering in the UK since relocating production of its core range to Corby, Northamptonshire.
