Walkers is adding innovation to the snacks aisle, with the launch of new Baked Stars.

The new snack range is available in three flavours.

With 70% less fat than standard crisps, the launch aims to grow the CSN category by fulfilling the desire for ‘better for you’ family snacks in formats that taste good.

The Baked range from Walkers, is the top selling ‘better for you’ sku worth £34m with repeat purchase rates that demonstrate that lower fat can still mean good taste.

Parents are increasingly looking for healthier options for their families, and Baked Stars hopes to be a must-stock on the snacks fixture within Grocery.

The Baked Stars are available from 19 March in three flavours; Cheese & Onion, Salt & Vinegar, and Mild Sweet Chilli in multipacks of six, with an RRP £1.59.

The launch will be supported by TV advertising from April, as well as PR, in-store support and sampling.
