Cornetto, the filled cone brand from Unilever UK, is launching a new flavour to its successful Cornetto Enigma range; Cornetto Enigma Cookie.
The new variant will be available from March and is being supported by a £1.9m marketing campaign, in a bid to add value to the Cornetto range.
Scott McKinnon, Brand Manager for Cornetto at Unilever UK said: “Cornetto is the biggest and fastest growing filled cone brand with a 40% share of the Filled Cones market with a positive growth of 15.3% in value in the last 52 weeks.
“We are building on this by introducing another flavour to the successful and popular range.
“Cornetto Enigma Cookie will drive excitement into the category, providing existing buyers with more choice as well as encouraging new consumer purchases.”
Cornetto Enigma Cookie is a cookie flavoured ice cream with a soft core of chocolate sauce and cookie pieces.
The design of the packaging is in keeping with the existing range and will come in an orange colour for stand out on shelf and in the ice cream cabinet.
Cornetto Enigma Cookie will be backed by an integrated £1.9m marketing campaign including a TV ad to support the launch which will air in June.
Cornetto Enigma Cookie is available in 4 x 90ml multipacks with an RRP of £2.99 and as single pack with an RRP of £1.50.
