Walkers has launched three new mystery flavours inspired by ingredients and recipes know to the Great British public.
The flavours have been designed to get the nation guessing, with the public invited to join the national flavour debate until Friday 9th March, when the flavours will be revealed.
Three people who correctly identify the mystery flavours will have the chance to walk away with the tasty sum of £50,000 each.
From now the limited edition Walkers crisps, labelled Mystery Flavour A, B or C, will be hitting shelves across the country.
Hundreds of thousands of guesses are expected as the public is challenged to figure out, “What’s That Flavour?”
Miranda Sambles, Marketing Director at Walkers commented:
“The nation has never been more interested in food and flavour and at Walkers, we love flavours too.
“We’ve spent months perfecting these mystery flavours,which we hope will really spark a nationwide flavour conversation.”
Gary Lineker, who will star in the TV advertising campaign said: “I’ve now tried all three flavours and I think I’ve worked one of them out…but of course I’m not allowed to enter!
“It’s definitely not as easy as it sounds so I hope the nation has some fun testing their taste buds.”
One winner will be drawn from all of the correct entries for each of the mystery flavours, winning £50,000 each.
A series of clues will be released later in the month on the brand’s Facebook page.
Walkers Mystery Flavours A, B, and C will be available in the following pack formats:
32.5g Single Bags, 1 x 6 Variety 6 pack (all three mystery flavours), 1 x 6 pack: 4 x Cheese & Onion and 2 x Mystery Flavour A, 1 x 6 pack: 4 x Ready Salted and 2 x Mystery Flavour B 1 x 6 pack: 4 x Salt & Vinegar and 2 x Mystery Flavour C.
