Manchester-based Kingsland Wines and Spirits has launched Legacy Wines; a new division which will focus on the Impulse, On-Trade and European export sectors of the company’s operations.
The Legacy Wines portfolio will initially be New World focussed, with wines from South Africa, New Zealand, USA, Chile, and Australia.
New brand launches from these countries are expected in early 2012.
Legacy Wines will be headed up by sales and marketing director, Rob Page. Rob will be supported by a sales team, including Ray King, Diane Barratt, Tim Morgan, and marketing manager, Laura Delooze.
Commenting on the launch, Rob Page, Sales & Marketing Director said:
“Legacy Wines will focus on providing new brands exclusively to the Impulse, On-Trade and export markets.
“Our aim is to inject some excitement back into the wine category, providing today’s consumers with approachable wines and innovative, modern brands.”
