From 9 January 2012, Nestlé Confectionery will be launching a of new Aero Orange Bubbles sharing bag.
The new chocolate sharing bag sees Aero’s bubbly milk chocolate given an orange flavour and a new pack design – aiming to guarantee stand out on shelf.
Mixing Aero chocolate with an orange flavour has already proved popular with shoppers.
Launched in January, Aero Orange block has grown to be worth £4m.
The total Aero brand is also seeing significant growth, up 12% to £93m.
The sharing bag category, now worth £346m in the convenience channel alone, continues to drive the total confectionery market.
With chocolate sharing bags proving particularly popular with shoppers, they account for a massive 40% of all sharing bag sales, worth £134m.
Whilst the market is growing well at 6%, Nestlé Confectionery are sales up a massive 38%.
Aero Orange Bubbles joins a sharing bag range from Nestlé Confectionery including Aero Peppermint Bubbles, Rolo, Smarties, MilkybarGiant Buttons, Kit Kat Pop Choc and Munchies.
