Mini Oreo is to launch its first ever Halloween limited edition, with a spooky themed version of its 6 x 25g packs.

The packs feature a new creepy design illustration with bats, pumpkins and haunted houses, along with games designed especially for Halloween on the back.

And for a seasonal trick, the mini versions of the biscuits have been filled with an orange coloured vanilla flavour cream, to give a Halloween theme without changing the taste.

The packs will also include a coupon giving consumers 40p off Mini Oreo 150g snack packs, valid until 31 March 2012.

Susan Nash, trade communications manager at Kraft Foods UK, said:

“Halloween can be an important sales occasion for retailers, and offering a good range of traditional favourites in seasonal packaging can really help to get customers excited about the big night.

“Our special Halloween Mini Oreo packs are perfect as part of a party spread or to give to children as a trick or treat – especially with the spooky orange coloured cream inside!”
