THE SAUCY FISH CO. ADDS NEW STANDALONE SAUCE TO ITS RANGE

August 2nd, 2011

Due to the popularity of its Fresh Salmon Fillets with Chilli, Lime and Ginger Sauce, The Saucy Fish Co. will now be offering the oriental-inspired accompaniment to fish as a Standalone Sauce.

Traditionally paired with salmon, this new Chilli Lime and Ginger Dressing from Saucy Fish will enable consumers to mix-and-match their sauce and seafood combinations depending on preference.

Infused with lime and ginger, Saucy Fish hopes its take on a sweet chilli accompaniment will appeal for its range of flavour and offer shoppers a sauce which stands out on the supermarket shelf.

Whether it is served with prawns, fresh cod fillets or fishcakes, the latest addition to The Saucy Fish Co.’s range aims to establish itself as versatile sauce to be purchased for numerous fish dishes and meal occasions.

Chili, Lime and Ginger Dressing on Salmon

With no nasties added, Chilli, Lime and Ginger Sauce is also a convenient sauce for busy consumers who want to avoid the additives in many ready meals but create a quick and easy dish.

In order to illustrate the new sauces’ versatility and in a bid to inspire consumers, The Saucy Fish Co. has come up with a range of Oriental-inspired fish dishes that are also quick to create, some of these include:

King Prawn Skewers
Skewer whole raw king prawns, grill for 5 – 10 minutes until cooked, then drizzle with Saucy Fish’s Chilli, Lime and Ginger Dressing. Serve with new potatoes and fresh rocket salad.

Chef’s tip: For added flavour, marinade the king prawns in the Chilli Lime and Ginger Dressing for a couple of hours before grilling.

Sweet Chilli Cod
Bake fresh cod fillets in the oven for 10-15 minutes until cooked through, serve with roasted vegetables and garlic mash then drizzle with Saucy Fish’s Chilli, Lime and Ginger.

Chef’s tip: For a special occasion, opt for Monkfish fillets instead of cod.
