THE SAUCY FISH CO ADDS PIRI PIRI COD TO ITS RANGE

This October, The Saucy Fish Co. is bringing something new to its seafood range with the launch of its latest Fish and Sauce product – fillets of cod with a piri piri sauce as an accompaniment.
Capitalising on the success of the other Fish and Sauce products in its range, including fresh salmon fillets with chilli, lime and ginger or watercress and crème fraiche, The Saucy Fish Co’s latest offering of Cod and Piri Piri is being launched as a convenient, healthy meal option.
Consumers need to oven bake the cod fillets, decide whether to serve the piri piri hot or cold – if hot, the sachet is placed in hot water to heat — and then serve with a us salad, new potatoes or roasted vegetables.
All products in The Saucy Fish Co’s 18-strong range are made using all-natural ingredients that consumers would find at home.

Pairing fresh cod with the contrast of Piri Piri sauce provides a pre seasoned meal for two.
Saucy’s Simon Smith said:
“We’re always aiming to provide our customers with exciting and tasty flavour combinations, and strive for innovation when developing new products.
“Cod and piri piri is a fantastic combination – the sauce really brings a much-loved fish dish to life and tastes fantastic, in addition to being a healthy dinner option.”
The introduction of the new Fish and Sauce variant comes just 12 months after the launch of The Saucy Fish Co.
It joins a range of convenient, quality fish dishes, which include two varieties of melt in the middle fishcakes, stand-alone sauces and foil bake bag fish-sauce pairings.
RRP for new Cod and Piri Piri is £4 and the product will be available in Tesco stores and from Ocado from 26 September 2011.
